The carbon steel construction feels incredibly solid, making the bike sturdy enough to handle rugged terrains and city streets alike. As someone who enjoys both urban commutes and hitting the trails, I found the front suspension to be a game-changer. It absorbed most of the shocks from bumpy paths, offering a smoother ride than I expected. The adjustable seat is another thoughtful addition, ensuring a comfortable fit for riders of varying heights (I’m around 5’10”, and it worked perfectly for me). However, at 68.3 pounds, the bike does feel heavy, so moving it around manually can be a bit of a workout.

Performance and Power

With a 48V 13AH removable battery, I was able to cover 55-60 miles in pedal-assist mode on a single charge. For full-electric mode, the range dropped to around 28-30 miles, which still felt sufficient for most of my trips. Charging the battery took approximately 6.5 hours, and I loved the flexibility of being able to remove and charge it at home. The IPX5 waterproof rating is reassuring, especially for those unexpected rainy rides. However, the battery lock mechanism could be smoother, as it felt a bit fiddly during removal.

Safety and Visibility Features

Safety is a priority for me, and this bike doesn’t compromise in that department. The 180mm dual disc brakes provided reliable stopping power, even on steep inclines. Riding at night was much less stressful thanks to the upgraded LED headlight, taillight, and turn signals. The addition of turn signals is a feature I didn’t know I needed until I used it; it offers an extra layer of communication with other road users. One minor gripe is that the electric horn isn’t as loud as I’d prefer, especially in noisy urban environments.
